St Patrick's Year 3/4 Future Stars Hoop Time Basketball Team competed at the State Finals in Dandenong last week. A great effort.
Thank-you to Mrs Laverty and Mrs Armstrong who coached the team.
TWILIGHT SOCCER WRAP-UP
Twilight Soccer has recently wrapped up for another year. ‘Red Fury’, made up of many of our Year 5/6 students, again won the Championship. Red Fury have played together since they were in Prep and in those 7 years they have won the Championship an incredible 5 times. The word on the street is that they play with great sportsmanship and skill and have been entertaining to watch. Matt Battley has coached them since they started and it has certainly been a memorable journey. Congratulations to Matt and the team on so much success over many years.
The Stratty Speed Demons, made up of many Year 3/4 students also took out the Championship this season. The Stratty Speed Demons were well coached by Jamie Zappulla, who got them really working well together as a team, displaying great talent, determination and fun.
Well done to the other teams that participated in the Twilight Soccer this season as well and thank you to all the parents who support the teams. Whilst Twilight Soccer is not a school co-ordinated event, we do take a keen interest in how the teams perform.
