WHAT'S HAPPENING AT ST. PATRICK'S

In STEM students have begun looking at biological science.
In classes F-2 students investigated the animal adaptation of bird beaks. Students used a range of tools to pick up small items imitating a real bird. Students loved using the pipettes, tweezers, tongs and chop sticks to pick up different size objects. Next week we will be looking at bird feet and other animal adaptations that they use to survive in the wild.
In classes 3-6 we have started investigating living things, and exploring other living things other than plants and animals. We have been looking at investigating mould. Students were very excited to set up their experiment and look forward to making observations next week.
