WHAT'S HAPPENING AT ST. PATRICK'S
Year 3/4 Students have been diving into the world of fractions using a range of concrete material to build and show their understanding from fraction bars to counters and everyday objects. Students have been busy exploring how to represent, compare, and make sense of halves, quarters and beyond.
These hands-on activities not only make learning more engaging but also help students deepen their mathematical thinking in a fun and meaningful way.
Check out the wonderful photos of our budding mathematicians in action - learning fractions has never looked so fun!

In Shakespeare we have been walking down to the hall to practice our play ‘Midnight’s Summer Dream’. Everyone has been enjoying practicing and saying their lines. Our costumes are very lovely with some boys wearing dresses. We have been practicing on a Tuesday since term one, week three. Now, because it's very close for the big night we have had some extra days practicing and getting our costumes organised. By Isla Dorning.
