Principal's Message

Dear Parent, Guardians and Carers,

We’ve recently had our Year 3/4 Activities Day at Coonawarra Farm Resort, our Year 6 Camp at Coolamatong and our Year 5 Camp at Karoonda Park Gelantipy. I have been fortunate to attend all these events, and they have all been fabulous experiences for the students involved. The activities that the students have participated in have taken some of them out of their comfort zone and challenged them to try something new or difficult. Throughout these camp experiences, the students have done a combination of activities including, rock climbing, abseiling, flying fox, horse riding, low and high ropes courses, canoeing, white water rafting and a boat ride. The students have taken on all the challenges they faced and represented our school well. As mentioned previously, our camps program will change slightly next year with our Year 3’s attending Coonawarra and our Year 4’s attending Coolamatong for their Activities Day, at separate times. Our Year 5’s will again attend a two-night camp at Gelantipy, whilst our Year 6’s will have a new camps experience with a two-night camp in Melbourne.

2025 Class Structure

Our class structure for 2025 has been recently decided upon. Next year, our class structure will remain the same with the following classes:

  • Foundation
  • Year 1
  • Year 2
  • Year 3/4A
  • Year 3/4B
  • Year 5
  • Year 6

Our staffing for 2025 has also nearly been finalised. Staffing for 2025 will be announced in the coming weeks.

Remembrance Day

On Monday 11th November, St Patrick’s will be a part of the Stratford Remembrance Day events. The whole school will attend the service at the Memorial Park. Our Year 6’s will attend a shared morning tea at the RSL Club following the service. It would be great to see some of our parents and families attend the service with us.

Kind regards,

Joel
