Students enjoyed the interactive Mad about Science Incursion where they used microscopes to look at living and non living artifacts.

They had opportunities to get up close and personal and experience looking at preserved insects, where they analysed structural and textural features.

They classified objects into the categories of living and nonliving based on their matter. A wonderful incursion with rich discussion linked to our Science Inquiry units.
